Pros
Seamless, quick, and shows you that it’s encrypting while in use.
Cons
None that I can find so far.
Summary
I haven’t tested KeyScrambler against any key logging software so I can’t say for certain that it’s working, but after using this program for years I feel that it must be. Haters out there giving bad reviews about IE11 compatability… all I can say is I’m running Win 10 eval with IE 11 and Keyscrambler is working just fine. No isues at all. People complaining that you have to pay for advanced features or broader integration with software… get a life! Do YOU work for free? Neither do folks that develop and create software. Pay for the advanced features if you need them, otherwise shut up and enjoy the FREE version.
Pros
Can’t find any
Cons
Does not protect against mediocre keyloggers
‘protects’ only browsers
costs a ton of money to ‘protect’ anything else.
Summary
As other reviews suggest, you should go with other encrypting applications. Keyscrambler is not what it promises to be.
Pros
It encrypts on kernel level
Cons
It encrypts input of only chosen few applications
Summary
For best anti-keylogging protection, use SpyShelter. It’s keystroke encryption encrypts every application.
Pros
I’m on my browser most of the time shopping so this is a must!
All you do is let it auto start up with windows and update it when it needs to, done!
Cons
No cons since it supports the web browsers I have.
Summary
Good extra layer of protection if you are typing any private info.
Pros
Browser protection and that’s it
Cons
A lot of effort to go through to encrypt only keystrokes
Summary
There is bettter encryption software available (spyshelter, zemana)
Pros
Works fine in IE and Firefox.Causes no discernible impact on PC so just install & forget.
Cons
None found.
Pros
None so far as it is incompatible with browsers…..
Cons
So, before downloading I read that it not compatible with IE. Now, after installing it, it informs me that it is incompatible with FreezeFox. Does it actually do anything?
Summary
Pointless and defeats its own purpose
Pros
Free, Seems to work well on supported applications.
Cons
On the Version Comparison site ( http://www.qfxsoftware.com/ks-windows/which-keyscrambler.htm ) IE is listed as a supported application but on my windows 7 Pro system it does not work in IE 11.
Summary
Could be better if it worked in IE 11.
Pros
It’s free, but you get what you didn’t pay for!
Cons
Frequently after closing IE11, the taskbar icon stays green, and anything you type in Any search box is encrypted gibberish…
I end having to open/close FireFox to turn it off.
I contacted KS support, but they were unable to help.
Summary
I also tried SpyShelter free/paid Trial, and they wouldn’t encrypt in FireFox!-
SS support said it may be my Kaspersky AV?
I may end up having to reinstall KS, as it protected me from 4 rootkit Trojans ( later removed by MBAM anti-rootkit beta)!?
Pros
-Little software
-I can see keystroke being enscrypted
-Suuport almost any browser
Cons
Free vertion only supports browsers. Many application and email clients also required password. It won’t protect them.
Summary
For full protection download “Zemana AntiLogger Free.”
